Candle House is opening a co-branded Candle House / Yankee Candle store in Liffey Valley. We are the original stockist of Yankee Candle (since 1999) and currently operate a large online store and a physical store in Naas. We are now embarking on a  new phase of store openings to bring the new refreshed and greatly enhanced Yankee Candle range along with other great home fragrance brands, to a wider audience and are recruiting a store manager, supervisors and full & part-time sales associate positions. STORE MANAGER

As the Store Manager for Candle House, you will join a team that has Yankee Candle and home fragrance in its DNA.

The Job:
As Store Manager, you will play a key role in providing customers with unique shopping experience, ensuring success of the store, and building a great team spirit with your colleagues.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building your team and recruiting when required
• Create weekly rosters in a fair and transparent manner
• Focusing on customers - making sure everyone feels welcome and wants to return
• Coaching and motivating the retail team in a positive environment.
• Ensuring high store display and service standards.
• Creating inspiring and sales-ready product displays in conjunction with our merchandise and training manager
• Manage store budget & sales targets

Who are you?
As Store Manager, you are already and experienced retail manager or assistant manager – you have a love of retail and home fragrance. You know how to bring out the best in your team and create a store environment where both employees and customers thrive.

Ideally you have a good business mindset and a passion for customer service and you have ideas of your own that can enhance the store.

You will be at the heart of an exciting journey, playing a key role in building our destination flagship store in Liffey Valley. As we are a local family owned Irish company, you will find you will be at the heart of the team and you will be able to create and implement your own creative ideas in the store.

Salary:

Circa €40000 + up to 10% performance bonus

SUPERVISOR (2)

As a store supervisor you will be part of team managing the store. We welcome both full-time and part-time applicants for both mid-week and weekends

Who are you?
We expect to be a very busy store,  so we’re looking for someone that will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a love of home fragrance and have a great knowledge of what great customer service is.

As part of the store management, we count on you to keep commitments, and provide input into the store, its displays and other ideas to ensure a successful store.!

The job
As a Supervisor, your main tasks will include:

• Providing excellent customer service at all times
• Assisting customers in the store
• Ensure strong merchandising, stock availability, and store presentation
• Opening / Closing the store
• Support with Cash Handling
• Leading by example
• Supporting with other miscellaneous tasks as needed

SALES ASSOCIATES – Fulltime/Part time – MIDWEEK + WEEKENDS

We’re looking for team members ready to give great service, have a love of home fragrance and are a team player.

We can be flexible on hours, both at weekends and during the week, so include your ideal hours in your application.

You thrive in a customer focussed retail environment and take the time to help your colleagues.

The job
As a Sales Associate, your main tasks will include:

• Providing excellent customer service and product knowledge & advice
• Restocking displays and ensuring the displays always looks their best
• Supporting with other retail & store tasks as required

Hourly Rate: €14.50  (age 19+)
